I assume you started by extracting the current textures - , what resolution were they? And what resolution are your textures?

I think they all look great, but I would keep the crystals clear with a little cracking in the corners, and maybe one slight flaw off centre - a hairline crack, maybe. But at the moment they look mottled.

Apart from that, it's excellent work and you should be proud. Tip: make sure that you import your textures and build a wall out of them, then step back quite a distance and see how they tile. You will want to avoid any obvious lines / patterns that are migraine inducing from a distance, if people are going to make decent builds using your texture pack :)

But yes, great work. Rust, corrosion, love it! :)

Well my editing program tells me that the default images and mine are the same at 96 . There is also a normal and specular map you have to include as well. It makes the images have their 3D like looks and determines the shininess of the block. I know NCrawler could go into much more detail on that stuff. Yea my biggest flaw is too much detail when it comes to textures. The striped blocks did have much smaller strips until johnny was nice enough to remind me that it would kill your eyes looking at it from a distance. Most of the corrosion effect most likely blends into a grey like color from a distance. Stuff like the random animal blocks and xenotech textures may hurt from a distance but I tried to make the xenotech additions be faint so its not so visible up close. Over all its been fun to do and NCrawler was the one to really help me get started.

Well something is off with the new textures in game but I think I know what it is. With that said I can show you them in that "messed up" state but they may change if i can find and fix the problem. But before I do that I figure I will show something else first to you guys.

I worked on the reinforced glass texture. But you will most likely not even notice the corrosion difference with out looking at the original first.

I also have close ups as well.

Well I was hoping to get some new ingame pictures of the blocks above to day but I messed up. In trying to make them non see through in certain areas I made those areas invisible  . So I am hoping that the next build makes them visible but it may also make them hard to see as well. Oh well I guess you could have some fun with someone by trapping them in invisible blocks.

Started some work on some other retextures. I am sure some will right away notice where some of the textures are from.

Hum... Is this regolith texture better then the current in game ones? I ask this because they all match up better hear and transitioning from different biomes is less different since all regoliths have craters now. But I want your opinion on this...
