Analyzing Fleet:
Medical Ship (10 crew members, 15 open seats)
Evac/Emergency Ship (15 crew members, 100 open seats)
Armory Ship (3 crew members, 7 open seats)
Command Ship (100-500 crew members, large number of open seats)
Comm Ship (27 crew members, 3 open seats)

The whirring began, and bright lights popped up. It woke the three crew members up.

Jaina: Did we wreck? Why is this place a mess?

Chuck: Gee, I don't know, maybe if you hadn't been sleeping, we--.

Jim: Guys! Let's contact the Command Ship, make sure everything is okay.

An hour or two later...

Chuck: Well looks like some asteroid storm, or engine failure occurred in both the capital ship and ours.

Jaina: At least we survived.

Jim: Wait! Wait! Is that <unintelligible> with <unintelligible> down below? Set us down, Chuck!

Chuck: The fuel line is cut, we're drifting aimlessly...

Jaina: Maybe our AI can do something, wait.... why isn't she turning on?

Chuck: She was based on the Command Ship.

Jim: Well, crap. It doesn't look like either of them below see us. One of them looks hurt.

Jaina: Our comms just went offline. Wait, we're being jammed.

Jim: By who?

Jaina: The medical ship that was in our fleet, we're drifting near it.

Jim: Chuck, see if you can restore any thrust, Jaina maintain the comms and radar and all that lovely stuff. I'm gonna take some wire and tie us to the medical ship, maybe we can find others and food.

Jim exits the ship in an EVA Suit and a lot of wire.

Chuck: Well...It doesn't look like we have any food.

Jaina: Great. I'm sure the Evac ship is still here, picking up other survivors.

Chuck and Jaina gaze at the two crew members on the surface, contemplating their death.

Jim: Personal log of Jim <unintelligible>. Activating Camera feed.

A First-Person view camera snaps on, showing a burnt hulk floating closer.

Jim: Something happened to our fleet. I'm going to the medical ship to see if there are survivors, but mostly supplies. I also need to find out why it's jamming our comms, and disable.

Jim swings closer, and produces a wire.

Jim: I'm...going to tie this...hang on...wire to the Medical Ship and our Armory Ship, more oxygen and supplies and stuff.

After Jims ties the the wire around a small hole, he forces his way into an airlock, and secures it.

Jim: I need to go to the bridge.

After searching around the ship for an hour or two, he is worried. He finds no survivors, however there are a lot of medical supplies and food, which is encouraging.

Jim: Okay, time to turn of the comms. Hmm...Okay. Ahh! What the-- oh god!

A loud message screeched through out the ship.

"....Cataclysmic event has occured....we're...ah! No! Creepy...reptilian, no...carnivorous creatures are onboard! All ships: Fall back!"

Jim stops the message, terrified. He swings himself back outside, and prepares the long haul.

Jim: Time to drag a god-knows-how-many tons ship across space.

Hours later...

Jim: I'm tying the ships together now, it's not really holding together, but at least it creates some more room. Jaina and Chuck should still be inside. Maybe they were able to contact someone.

Jaina: Hey, Chuck open the airlock, Jimmy is back!

Chuck silently obeyed the orders.

Jim: Hey, guys. No sign of anyone else. Got a lot of supplies though, we could survive in these guys for a few months.

Chuck: Oh, sweet! Hopefully that's enough time to get rescued.

Jaina: Why would we need to be rescued?

Chuck: Jain, you can't be seri-

Jim: Chuck, hush. We're fine. What about the two survivors down below?

Jaina: One was sending out some radio messages, but we couldn't actually listen to them, or respond. They still haven't noticed us.

Red lights starting whirring.

Jim: Chuck, what is it?

Chuck: Well...It looks like our thrust problem, is even more a problem. Some fuel is leaking out, and I guess there's some heat left in the medical ships engine...

Jaina: So...We're going to be fried?

Chuck: Nah, well, I don't think so. Maybe.

Jim: Hmm...Hang on, I'm gonna push our makeshift craft into that asteroid in orbit, maybe it'll make more since.

An hour or so later...

Jaina: You moron! The Medical Ship is beached, and now the Armory is just floating off in it's only little world!

Chuck: At least we're not on the giant moon or asteroid or whatever the heck that thing is...Do you think the two people down there are still alive?

Jim: I don't know, but we need to start organizing our supplies. Chuck, can you go make sure the medical ship is airtight, and Jaina and I will get ready to ship stuff out of the Armory.

Chuck: Alright.

Entry IV:
Coming soon!

Thoughts? De(con)structive criticism? More? No more? What do you guys think about it?

Note: If I didn't explain it clearly, my bad. They are in a ship unable to maneuver. It is the "Armory Ship," and has the weapons and mining utilities, as well as the armor.

only complaint is that the names are a dark red. its very hard on the eyes and blends into the grey layout

I can understand that, any color preference you can think of? I figured if they were colored it would be easier to see when it was a different person speaking.

Making them separate colors could help, but that's your choose on what colors. I personally like to identify ppl with colors.
