I'm sure I am not the only one that wishes their friends(and family) could play swarm together on one consol

Unfortunately they have stated before that it is not possible with Xenominer but I don't think they have addressed if it is possible with the new code in Swarm... :?:

I believe that part of the problem may lie in the memory use for the game. Xenominer is already pushing the system's memory limits and having to duplicate the environment for two players could be more than the venerable Xbox 360 can handle.

It would be really cool to have an Xbox 360 hack that added system and video RAM. But, that would potentially cannibalize the already less than stellar Xbox One sales... :roll:

Tim's correct.

Adding couch co-op is unfortunately something we can't do on the Xbox 360. The memory pressure to draw that many voxels (you have different cameras and views, even standing side by side those require separate renders) is simply untenable. We'd have to turn the draw distance down so far you wouldn't be able to functionally play the game.

Next gen consoles will be a different story, and games built for those platforms we'll definitely keep this desire in mind (we'd love to play with our friends and kids too!)
