Model texture changes

After some testing I have confirmed that I do have the ability to alter the solar panel texture and perhaps all other model textures. Unlike the texture packs these seem to come out just fine. In theory I could start making model changes, however this is not much when you do not have a texture pack to go with it. Well you guys can leave some feedback if you want and I am going to do more testing.
